We Have A NEW Match Savings Programs!

Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency Financial Management Services Department has launched a new program! Our new ‘Save for Stability’ Matched Savings Program is designed to help income-eligible households build their savings and develop savings as a habit. When a household saves $500 of their earned income, takes our Money Management Workshop, and works with a Budget Coach, NMCAA will match their savings with $500.

Participating households with children 17 years of age or younger are eligible for Children’s Saving Account starter funds – a ‘Mini Money Masters’. To qualify, you must be participating in the ‘Save for Stability’ Match Savings Program AND attend one additional workshop designed for parents and children. $50 of the savings starter funds will be supplied for each child in the household once parents have completed the Money Management and the Mini Money Masters Workshop.

For more information about this program, please call 231-947-3780, text 231-714-4578 or email fmsintake@nmcaa.net
