Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field is required; must also have (within 18 months of hire) a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field. NMCAA will provide training for a credential in family services if applicant does not already have a credential or certification as listed above.  Applicant must demonstrate a strength-based approach to working with children and families; a commitment to confidentiality, and the ability to relate to co-workers as a team player. This position maintains a highly collaborative role with the partners, families, and Child Care Team to promote quality programming and ensure Head Start Program compliance.  Strong computer and communication skills are essential to success in this position. $18.24-$18.76 hr. .

Homeless Prevention Program seeks a Lead Housing Based Case Manager to provide housing based case management and supervision for a permanent supportive housing program in the Greater Grand Traverse area.  This is a contracted position with Northwest Michigan Supportive Housing in order to provide in-home housing support services to individuals and families who formerly experienced homelessness in Antrim, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties. Supervisory experience required in addition to experience working with vulnerable populations, individuals at risk, and State and Federal homeless programs.  Excellent communication and computer skills required.  Bachelor’s degree required.  Full-time position with benefits; $17.00/hour.
