NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ON PROPOSED FY 2021 COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) PLAN

The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency, Inc. will accept public comments as required by the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services CSBG Plan for FY 2021. Public Comments will be accepted on the CSBG FY 2021 proposed plan from August 3, 2020 through August 17, 2020.

The plan summary is a follows: A total of $604,575 is planned to be utilized in the counties of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, and Wexford for the general purposes of anti-poverty programming for low income citizens to include but not be limited to: Senior Nutrition, Financial Management and Education, Emergency Services, Food Programs, Housing Rehabilitation and Home Performance.
