The Home Heating Credit allows low-income families to have the opportunity to pay for their heating bills. Having access to energy is crucial for every household in Michigan to prevent pipes from freezing, maintaining medications, medical devices, food and more. Without access to heat in their homes, residents’ health is put at risk that could lead to death. That is why the Home Heating Credit is available to ensure that energy is affordable for all.
