Supportive Services for Veteran Families

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) strives in improving the housing stability of Veteran Families.  Veteran Housing Resources Specialist will provide outreach and case management services, and will assist participants in obtaining VA benefits and other public benefits, which may include:

  • Rental Assistance
  • Utility Payment Assistance
  • Deposits
  • Moving Costs
  • Purchase of Emergency Supplies
  • Transportation Assistance
  • Child Care Assistance

Who qualifies for services under the SSVF Program?

A Veteran or a member of a family in which the head of household, or the spouse of the head of household, is a Veteran.

What is the definition of a Veteran under the SSVF Program?

A Veteran is a person who has served in the military and was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable.

Veterans can apply in person at any of NMCAA's three offices or by calling.
