Happy National Financial Capability Month!

As you may know, in 2014, President Obama declared April as National Financial Capability Month. Since then, CFED has used the month as an opportunity to raise awareness about financial capability, including what it means and why it matters.

CFED defines financial capability as the combination of the knowledge and skills needed to make sound financial decisions, along with access to the products and services that enable families to manage their resources well—especially when money is tight.  Click to read more.

There is still time to file your Taxes!

There are three ways to e-file your taxes:

  1. By appointment - Call Peggy at (231) 947-3780 x2141 to schedule yours.  (See Locations).  
  2. Online - You can do your own taxes online by going to myfreetaxes.com.
  3. Drop-off - You can drop off your tax forms along with this Intake Form at the Traverse City or Cadillac offices.
