Join us November 4th for Sleep Out 2015
Help us raise awareness of the home heating needs in our community and emergency funds to support those in desperate need of utility assistance this winter!
The fifth annual Sleep Out to raise awareness and monetary donations for home heating assistance needs in Northwest Michigan returns on November 4th on the lawn of the Grand Traverse County Civic Center along Grandview Parkway. It begins at 4:30 p.m. and continues through the night. The event is co-sponsored by the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA).
“Dealing with winter utility costs is an ongoing challenge for many Michigan families. It was especially difficult over last year’s harsh winter, worsened by rising energy costs,” said Laura Oblinger, executive director of the TC Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Sleep Out is an opportunity to assist families and individuals in keeping their homes safe and livable over the winter.”

Bring your own logoed tent or support one of our distinguished guests and have your logo displayed on their tent, formal recognition at the event and in media communication. Sponsorship includes camping for up to 5 people. (Provides emergency heating reconnect assistance this winter for one family)
(15) Distinguished Camper Sponsor $271
Sponsor one of our Community Leader’s tents – Sponsor one of our special guests and have your logo placed on their tent. (Provides one month of utility assistance this winter for one family)
(10) NMC Camper Sponsor $271
Sponsor one of our 10 NMC student camper spots so they can sleep out for a cause and have your logo placed on their tent. (Provides one month of utility assistance this winter for one family)
(40) Be a Camper $271
Bring your own tent logoed or un-logoed and sleep out for a great cause: includes camping for up to 5 people. (Provides one month of utility assistance this winter for one family)
