Homebuyer Coaching
NMCAA was named “2010 Housing Counseling Agency of the Year” by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
A certified HUD Housing Counseling Agency since 1974, NMCAA embraces creative pro-active programming and has regularly received acknowledgment and acclamations from funding sources.
NMCAA provides FREE Pre-Purchase and Post-Purchase coaching for new homebuyers, Homebuyer Education, and coaching through the whole homebuying process.
We offer 8-hour homebuyer workshops in the Traverse City office and starting in July, we will be offering Homebuyer Education in Cadillac. There are also Zoom workshops available for those who cannot attend in person. A schedule of workshops can be found on the Agency Calendar or through our Facebook page. These workshops are $75 per household. Scholarships are available.
Homebuyer Education is also available online as a self-paced workshop. NMCAA has partnered with eHome America to offer Homebuyer Education for a fee of $99. You can access the online version at www.ehomeamerica.org/nmcaa.
